PROGRAM TERMS & USER GUIDE
How the program works and what you need to do
Commission structure
50% of the install's revenue for the first month.
30% of monthly revenue for every recurring month the store stays active.
Payouts: Monthly. $50 minimum. PayPal or Wise.
⚠️ Tracking is currently manual
The Shopify App Store strips referral parameters from listing URLs, so the Total Clicks stat on your dashboard will stay at zero and installs won't auto-attribute. Until we ship a redirect-based tracker, every install must be claimed manually through this portal.
How the claim flow works
1. Share your apps — open My Apps & Links, copy the referral link for any app, and share it with merchants. The link points at the Shopify App Store listing for that app.

2. Merchant installs — when a store you influenced installs the app, take a screenshot of either:
  • Their Shopify admin → Apps page, showing the app installed for that shop, or
  • A billing screenshot that shows the active charge.
The shop's .myshopify.com domain (or custom domain) must be visible in the image.

3. Submit a claim — go to Claim an Install in the sidebar. Pick the app, pick the plan from the dropdown (these are set by the admin per app), enter the shop's name + URL + install date, and upload the screenshot. Hit Submit Claim.

4. Admin reviews — within 24–72 hours the admin checks your proof. Outcomes:
  • Approved → a new row appears under Installs. Commissions are calculated from that row going forward.
  • Rejected → the admin leaves a note in Your Previous Claims explaining why. Resubmit with better proof if you can.
Claim rules
One claim per (you, app, shop). If two affiliates claim the same shop, whoever was approved first owns it.
No cookie window — proof matters. Claims are evaluated on the screenshot, not on a click timestamp.
Be honest. Falsified screenshots → account suspended, no payouts.
Plan price changes don't back-fill. The MRR on your install is set at approval time. If the admin updates the plan price later, existing installs keep the value they had.
Prohibited
Brand-name PPC bidding, coupon-site spam, cookie-stuffing, fake reviews, claim fraud. Any of these → account suspended, balance forfeited.
